Gold prices held steady overnight in what appears to be a stable market for precious metals. Spot gold was trading at $4,356.92 per ounce by 00:40 GMT on Wednesday.
US gold futures for December delivery saw a modest increase of 0.4% to $4,394.90 per ounce, suggesting some upward momentum in the market.
The price of other precious metals also remained steady, with spot silver climbing 0.4% to $67.37 per ounce, platinum rising 0.3% to $1,837.80, and palladium increasing by 0.3% to $1,311.40.
