Gold Prices Rise Alongside Silver and Platinum Gains
Gold prices saw a modest rise on Monday, with spot gold climbing 0.4% to reach $4,158.17 per ounce as of 01:50 GMT. This upward movement was mirrored in the US gold futures market, where December delivery contracts increased by 0.6%, settling at $4,186.40.
The gains were not limited to gold, as other precious metals also experienced increases. Spot silver surged by 1.7% to $61.40 per ounce, while platinum and palladium each rose by 0.6%, with platinum priced at $1,708.48 and palladium at $1,175.04.
