Gold Prices Rise Amid Falling Oil Prices
Gold prices rose on Monday as oil prices declined, leading investors to reassess global market developments. The precious metal's value increased by 0.7% to $4,067.06 per ounce in spot markets. US gold futures also rose by 0.9% to $4,065.60 per ounce.
The upward trend was not limited to gold alone, as other precious metals saw significant gains as well. Spot silver climbed 0.7% to $58.02 per ounce, platinum gained 0.7% to $1,653.78 per ounce, and palladium advanced 1.5% to $1,293.00 per ounce.
