Gold Prices Rise Marginally in India on August 1
Gold prices in India have seen a marginal increase on August 1, 2026. The price of 24-carat gold (99.9% purity) now stands at ₹14,461 per gram, up by ₹1 from the previous day. Similarly, 22-carat gold (91.6% purity) is priced at ₹13,256 per gram, while 18-carat gold (75% purity) is available at ₹10,846 per gram in most cities.
However, silver prices have witnessed a slight decline. The metal is now priced at ₹234.90 per gram, down by ₹0.10 from the previous session. This decrease is reflected across major Indian cities, with uniform rates for gold and varying rates for silver due to local demand.
