Gold Prices Slip Amid Firm US Dollar and Fed Caution
Gold futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange slipped to ₹1.41 lakh/10g on Thursday amid subdued market sentiment, despite early gains.
The August delivery contract fell by ₹181, or 0.13 per cent, to ₹1,41,600 per 10 grams, while the October contract declined by ₹252, or 0.18 per cent, to ₹1,43,031 per 10 grams.
Comex gold futures for August delivery traded marginally lower at $4,031.70 per ounce in New York, weighed down by a firm US dollar and the Federal Reserve's cautious stance on interest rates.
