Gold Prices Slip as Global Bullion Rates Rise Amid US Federal Reserve Concerns
Gold prices in India's retail market continued to feel pressure on July 28, with both 24-karat and 22-karat gold experiencing a small dip in most major cities. The rates for 999 fine silver also saw a slight decrease.
This trend is being closely monitored by buyers and investors who are keeping an eye on global bullion pricing and the upcoming US Federal Reserve policy call. International gold rates did rise during Asian trading hours, backed by a weaker US dollar and lower crude oil prices.
The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) reported that gold futures were trading 0.62% lower at ₹1,42,940 per 10 grams, while silver futures fell around 1.29% to ₹2,18,920 per kg during morning trade.
