Gold Prices Slip Below ₹1.5 Lakh per 10 Grams in Delhi

Gold prices in Delhi fell below ₹1.5 lakh per 10 grams for the first time in two months, dropping by ₹1,400 on Tuesday amid weak local demand and a strengthening US dollar.

The price of gold, which is of 99.9% purity, traded at ₹1,48,600 per 10 grams, inclusive of all taxes, down from ₹1.50 lakh per 10 grams on Monday.

This level was last seen on July 31 when the price was ₹1,48,300 per 10 grams.

However, silver prices remained stable at ₹2.32 lakh per kilogram, with no change in its value from the previous day.

The sharp correction in gold prices is attributed to significant global pressures, according to Pinky Yadav, a Commodity Fundamental Analyst at Choice Broking.
