Gold Prices Slump in Asian Markets Amid Interest Rate Worries

Gold prices have decreased in Asian spot trading as investors wait for further market developments and assess inflation indicators and interest rate outlooks. This occurred on Friday, July 31.

The price of gold fell by 0.2 percent to $4,096.29 per ounce, but is still expected to end the week with a gain of around 1.1 percent.

In contrast, US gold futures for August delivery rose by 0.1 percent to $4,094.10.

On a monthly basis, gold prices are poised to rise by more than 2.2 percent.
