Gold Prices Soar ₹19,000 in Raipur Ahead of Festive Season

The price of gold has surged in Raipur's Sarafa Bazaar ahead of the festive season. Over the past month, the metal has risen by nearly ₹19,000 per 10 grams, from around ₹1.46 lakh to ₹1.65 lakh. This increase is affecting the budgets of jewelry buyers.

Silver prices have also seen a significant jump, rising by more than ₹28,000 in a month. The price of silver has climbed from around ₹2.26 lakh per kilogram in July to ₹2.54 lakh per kilogram now.

According to bullion traders, the rise in gold and silver prices is being driven largely by international market conditions and shifting investor sentiment. A recent rally in the US bond market has had an impact on precious metal prices.
