Gold Prices Soar as Futures Contracts Rise

Gold prices rose on Monday, August 3, as futures contracts for October delivery traded higher by Rs 364 (0.25%) at Rs 1,43,740 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange.

This marks a significant increase in the yellow metal's value, with speculators creating fresh positions due to firm spot demand.

Meanwhile, silver futures for September delivery also saw an uptick, increasing by Rs 1,156 (0.53%) to Rs 2,18,354 per kilogram in a business turnover of 2,206 lots.
