The price of gold in Pakistan has surged significantly after the official rates were released by local bullion associations. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola jumped by Rs 10,000 compared to the previous trading session.

The new rate settled at Rs 437,936 per tola across major domestic markets in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. The price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs 8,573 to settle at Rs 375,459, up from Rs 366,886 in yesterday's session.

The dramatic increase in domestic prices comes right after spot gold in international markets surged past key historical benchmarks. Local markets in Pakistan track global bullion movements closely while adjusting for currency valuation changes.
