Gold Prices Soar in Pakistan Amid Global Economic Uncertainty
The price of gold in Pakistan saw an increase on Thursday, October 1st, 2026. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the opening rate for 24-karat gold was Rs441,636 per tola, up by Rs4,300 from the previous session.
The international market also saw a rise in gold prices, with the price of gold opening at $4,191 per ounce, up by $43 from the previous session.
Other rates mentioned include 22-karat gold priced at Rs404,833 per tola and 21-karat gold available at Rs386,432 per tola. Meanwhile, silver prices saw a slight increase of Rs20 in the previous session with an opening rate standing at Rs6,578 per tola.
Experts predict that gold prices may remain volatile next week due to various international economic developments and local market conditions influencing demand and pricing.
