Gold Prices Soar in Pakistan Amid Global Uptick

Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Saturday as they rose globally. The local market saw gold price per tola surge to Rs456,536 after a gain of Rs2,200 during the day.

The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported that 10-gram gold was sold at Rs391,406 after it increased by Rs1,887. This marks a significant jump from Friday's price per tola, which reached Rs454,336 with a gain of Rs5,100.

The international rate of gold has also seen an uptick, increasing by $22 to reach $4,341 per ounce with a premium of $20. In contrast, the price of silver decreased by Rs113 to reach Rs6,826 per tola.
