Gold Prices Soar in Pakistan as International Rates Climb

Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Monday, following gains in the international market. The local gold price per tola reached Rs428,436 after a rise of Rs1,700 during the day.

The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported that 10-gram gold sold at Rs367,314 after increasing by Rs1,457. The international rate of gold was up by $17 to reach $4,060 per ounce with a premium of $20.

The price of silver also increased, reaching Rs6,291 per tola after rising by Rs54.
