The price of gold in Pakistan has seen a significant increase on October 2, 2026. According to Business Recorder, the current rate of gold is Rs440,636 per tola for 24 carat, while the price for 10 gram gold is Rs377,774 in the local bullion market.

The prices have risen by Rs2,000 and Rs1,715 respectively compared to the previous day. The international rate of the yellow metal has also increased by $20 to $4,181 per ounce.

The rates of gold in Pakistan are closely tied to the US dollar and international prices due to the country's status as a net importer of precious metals. When the rupee is under pressure, investors tend to flock to gold as a safe-haven asset.
