Gold Prices Soar on Strong Demand and US Market Cues
Gold futures in India have seen an increase due to firm spot market demand and positive cues from New York. The price of gold rose by Rs 150 to Rs 1,50,860 per 10 grams in futures trade on September 26th.
The yellow metal contract for October delivery saw a business turnover of 1,554 lots with an increase of 0.1 percent. Analysts attribute the rise in prices to fresh positions created by market participants on strong spot demand.
Globally, gold futures rose 0.01 percent to $4,275.38 per ounce in New York, according to reports. The precious metal's price movement is being closely watched by investors and analysts alike.
