Gold Prices Soar Rs 190 to Rs 1.52 Lakh Amid Strong Demand
Gold prices rose in futures trade on Wednesday by Rs 190 to reach Rs 1.52 lakh per 10 grams, driven by speculators creating fresh positions on strong spot demand.
The Multi Commodity Exchange saw the yellow metal contract for October delivery trading higher by 0.12% at Rs 1,52,769 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 635 lots.
According to analysts, fresh positions taken by market participants led to the rise in prices.
