Gold Prices Stable After Fed Rate Hike, Some Variation in Vietnam
The gold price remained relatively stable after the US Federal Reserve's interest rate hike. As of 7:27 AM Vietnam time on September 21st, the spot gold price was $4,365.50 per ounce, down 0.27% according to data on Kitco.com.
In the domestic market, prices listed by Saigon Jewelry Company and Phu Quy Group were unchanged from last week, ranging from 144.6 - 147.6 million VND/ounce for buying and selling prices respectively.
However, Mi Hong Company increased its price by 100,000 VND/ounce with a buying price of 144.7 million VND and a selling price of 146.2 million VND.
