Gold Prices Steady Near One-Week High Amid Modest Gains in Other Precious Metals

Gold prices have steadied near their one-week high recorded on Friday. According to data from Singapore, gold settled at $4,379.74 per ounce, virtually unchanged.

The US gold futures for December delivery slipped 0.1 percent to $4,419.40.

Silver also saw an increase, rising by 0.8 percent to $66.76 per ounce. Platinum and palladium followed suit, climbing 0.2 percent to $1,804.33 and gaining 0.7 percent to $1,311.65 respectively.
