Gold Prices Surge Ahead of Festive Season in India
Gold prices in India continued to rise on Wednesday, September 30, ahead of the festive and wedding season. The 24 Karat gold rate stood at ₹15,025 per gram, or ₹1,50,250 per 10 grams, as of 10:10 AM IST.
This marks a gain of ₹1,390, or 0.93%, during the day. The 22K gold rate was ₹13,773 per gram, while 20K and 18K gold were priced at ₹12,521 and ₹11,269 per gram, respectively.
Silver prices also recorded gains, with 999 fine silver priced at ₹227 per gram, or ₹2,26,750 per kilogram. This represents a gain of ₹1,450, or 0.64%, on the day.
