Gold Prices Surge for Fourth Day in Pakistan Amid Global Market Rise

The prices of gold and silver in Pakistan have seen their fourth consecutive increase on August 8, 2026.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reports that 24-karat gold per tola has risen by Rs2,200, reaching a new rate of Rs456,536. This is accompanied by an increase in the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold by Rs1,887, now at Rs391,406.

The price of 22-karat gold also saw a rise of Rs1,729 to be sold for Rs358,801 per 10 grammes. It's worth noting that the global bullion market has seen a similar trend with gold hiked by $22, reaching $4,341 per ounce.
