Houthis Claim Successful Ballistic Missile Strike on Another Saudi Oil Tanker
The Houthi rebels in Yemen have claimed another successful ballistic missile strike on a Saudi oil tanker, this time targeting the vessel 'Daisy' in the Gulf of Aden.
The attack is part of the group's ongoing campaign against Saudi-linked vessels in the region, with the Houthis seeking to enforce a maritime blockade against Saudi Arabia through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
The Houthi spokesperson Yahya Saree stated that the strike on the tanker Wafaa off the coast of Yanbu was accurate and brought the number of targeted Saudi oil ships to eight since July 22, with 29 vessels prevented from continuing their routes or forced to turn back in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea.
