Gold Prices Surge in India Amid Stable Silver Rates
Gold prices have increased in India on August 16, making it more expensive for buyers. The price of 24-carat gold is now 155,130 rupees per 10 grams, up from 152,880 rupees on August 15. Meanwhile, silver prices have declined slightly, offering some relief to investors.
The price of 22-carat gold has also risen to 142,200 rupees per 10 grams, while the price of 18-carat gold is now 116,350 rupees per 10 grams. In contrast, the price of silver on August 16 is 250 rupees per gram, down from 254.90 rupees per gram on August 15.
The increase in gold prices has been observed across major cities in India, including Nagpur, Nashik, Surat, Delhi, Chennai, and Hyderabad. In these cities, the price of 22-carat gold ranges from 142,200 to 142,350 rupees per 10 grams, while the price of 24-carat gold ranges from 155,130 to 155,280 rupees per 10 grams.
