Gold Prices Surge in Pakistan Amid International Increase
The local market for gold saw an increase in prices on Wednesday, with 24-karat gold per tola rising by Rs4,300 to settle at Rs441,636, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs3,686 to Rs378,631, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs3,379 to Rs347,091.
In the international market, the price of gold also increased, rising by $43 to $4,191 per ounce.
