Gold Prices Surge to ₹1.53 Lakh Per 10 Grams as Silver Remains Steady
Gold prices in India increased on September 16, according to the latest market rates. The price of 24-carat gold rose to around ₹1.53 lakh per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at approximately ₹1.40 lakh per 10 grams, and 18-carat gold stood at around ₹1.15 lakh per 10 grams in major cities. Silver prices remained steady at ₹2.45 lakh per kg across most cities.
The prices were as follows: 24K Gold was priced at ₹1,53,440 per 10 grams in Chennai and other major cities, while 22K Gold was available for around ₹1,40,650 per 10 grams. 18K Gold was priced at ₹1,15,080 per 10 grams in most cities.
The silver prices remained constant at ₹2.45 lakh per kg in all the mentioned cities except Chennai, where it was slightly higher at ₹2.50 lakh per kg.
