Gold Prices to Reach $5,000/oz by Year's End

RBC Capital Markets' Director of Global Commodity Strategy and MENA Research, Christopher Louney, believes gold prices will rise due to geopolitical instability, de-dollarization, and concerns over U.S. dollar debasement.

Louney's forecast aligns with their previous predictions made in December last year, which stated that gold would spend most of 2023 in the $4,500-$5,000/oz range.

The forecast for this year remains unchanged, and Louney expects gold to reach $4,929/oz by the end of 2026. In 2027, he predicts a price of $5,296/oz.
