Gold Rises Despite Firm US Dollar
The gold price (XAU/USD) rose by 0.38% on Friday to $4,065 as the US Dollar Index held steady at 101.46.
The increase in gold's value came despite concerns that the US-Iran conflict may last longer than expected, which could negatively impact the metal's prospects.
The US Treasury yields also fell by three basis points to 4.667%, contributing to gold's upward trend.
