Gold, Silver Prices Plummet on Stronger Dollar
Gold and silver prices plummeted sharply on July 31, 2026, as investors returned to selling pressure in the international bullion market.
The international gold rate dropped to $4,051 per ounce, a decline of approximately $51.30 per ounce from its earlier level, according to market figures recorded at 2:41 pm.
Silver also followed the downward trend, with the international silver rate falling by around $1 per ounce to $57.90 per ounce.
The decline in the international market was reflected in Pakistani bullion rates, with gold priced at Rs429,000 per tola and silver at Rs6,250 per tola.
