Gold Soars to ₹1.51 Lakh, Silver Hits ₹2.33 Lakh in India

Gold prices in India have surged by ₹1,440 to reach ₹1.51 lakh per 10 grams on August 10, according to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA). This marks an increase of ₹8,000 per 10 grams over the past 10 days.

The price of one kilogram of silver has also risen by ₹1,909 to reach ₹2.33 lakh, a gain of ₹14,995 in just six days this month.

Since the beginning of August, gold prices have jumped by ₹8,201 per 10 grams, while silver has increased by ₹14,995 per kilogram.

Ajay Kedia, a commodity expert, forecasts that gold could reach ₹1.60 lakh and silver ₹2.80 lakh by the end of the year.
