Gold Stays Firm Amid Inflation Fears
Gold prices remained steady on September 23 as investors assessed the likelihood of central banks keeping interest rates high to combat inflation. In Singapore, gold spot prices held unchanged at $4,356.92 per ounce, while US gold futures for December delivery rose 0.4 percent to $4,394.90.
Other precious metals also saw gains, with spot silver increasing by 0.4 percent to $67.37 per ounce, platinum rising 0.3 percent to $1,837.80, and palladium climbing 0.3 percent to $1,311.40.
