Gold struggles to regain strength above Rs 1.50 lakh

Gold prices attempted a recovery on October 5 after a sharp decline in late September. Domestic gold futures briefly dropped to Rs 1,48,850 per 10 grams before bouncing back to Rs 1,49,750 by the end of the trading session. This level represents a 0.43 percent loss over the past 24 hours.

Spot gold also saw a slight decline, trading at Rs 1,47,547 per 10 grams. Despite the recovery attempt, the outlook for gold remains cautious as the precious metal struggles to regain strength above the Rs 1.50 lakh mark.
