Gold Surges to New High in India as Silver Prices Decline

India's gold market saw a significant surge in prices on Tuesday, with gold rising to Rs 1.67 lakh per 10 grams for the fourth straight session.

The price of gold increased by Rs 2,700, reaching a new high at Rs 1,67,100 per 10 grams in the national capital.

Silver prices, however, took a breather after its three-session rally and declined by Rs 3,500 to Rs 2.50 lakh per kilogram, according to the All India Sarafa Association.
