US Cotton Futures Continue Tuesday Decline Amid Crude Oil Drop

Cotton futures are struggling to regain momentum after experiencing losses on Tuesday.

The nearbys traded between $81 and $92 lower at midday, while crude oil declined by $2.86 per barrel.

According to the Weekly Crop Progress data, 81% of US cotton has set bolls as of Sunday, with 20% of the crop having opened bolls.

The condition ratings for US cotton dropped 1 percentage point to 37% good/excellent.
