Gold Surpasses $4,158 as Precious Metals Rally
Gold prices climbed to new heights on Monday, surpassing $4,158 per ounce as precious metals experienced broad gains. Spot gold increased by 0.4%, reaching $4,158.17 per ounce as of 01:50 GMT, while US gold futures for December delivery rose 0.6% to $4,186.40 per ounce.
Silver led the gains among other precious metals, jumping 1.7% to $61.40 per ounce. Platinum and palladium also saw modest increases, each rising 0.6% to $1,708.48 per ounce and $1,175.04 per ounce, respectively.
