Goldgroup Mining Inc., which operates as GGORO (NYSE American) and GORO (FSE: 55G), is advancing its gold portfolio across Mexico and the United States. The company's next phase of growth follows a merger with Gold Resource Corporation.

The merged entity has four 100%-owned precious-metals assets, including two producing mines in Mexico, one restart-ready mine in Sonora, and an advanced development project in the US.

According to the company, its vision is to build a mining company producing over 250,000 oz AuEq. This growth strategy is set against a backdrop of sustained gold demand and investor interest in producing companies with an established operating base.
