GoldMining Targets Valuation Gap with Brazilian and Colombian Projects
GoldMining Inc (GOLD) is taking steps to close its valuation gap by advancing projects in Brazil and Colombia. The company's portfolio includes San Jorge, La Mina, and Crucero, among others.
The San Jorge project in Pará State, Brazil has been identified as GoldMining's top development priority after a preliminary economic assessment (PEA) showed an after-tax net present value of over $500 million. The PEA assumes a 5% discount rate and a gold price of $3,500 per ounce.
The project is expected to produce more than 50,000 ounces of gold annually for over 10 years with an internal rate of return above 40%. GoldMining has been drilling at San Jorge for several months, and results are expected in the coming weeks and months.
