Government Secures Six LNG Cargoes Amid Growing Energy Demand
The government of [country] has decided to procure six more liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes to meet the country's growing energy demands. This decision was made at the 44th meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Government Purchase held on Sunday.
Under the first proposal, two LNG cargoes will be procured through an international quotation process from Total Energies Gas & Power Ltd (UK) and Vitol Asia Pte Ltd (Singapore). The quoted prices for these cargoes ranged from $28.95 to $29.795 per MMBtu.
The second proposal involves procuring two LNG cargoes from DARAB Inc. (USA) through direct procurement at a price of $17.00 per MMBtu. Meanwhile, the third proposal is for Mind Mingle LLC (USA) to supply two LNG cargoes at $19.00 per MMBtu.
