Grain and Livestock Markets Rally as Harvest Progress Improves

Wheat futures also gained, with December KC wheat up 7 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat up 5 3/4 cents, and December MIAX wheat up 4 cents. The gains came despite delayed harvest progress due to heavy rain last week, though the forecast for the coming week appears more favorable.

In livestock markets, December live cattle opened higher at $220.975, up $1.00, while November feeder cattle rose $1.98 to $332.1. December lean hogs dipped slightly, down $0.13 at $70.825. The cattle contracts saw stronger gains following Monday's close, though no cash cattle trade has developed yet.
