The USDA reported that grain bids across several Midwest states and the Gulf export corridor were mostly steady to weaker in the latest round of daily reports from the Agricultural Marketing Service. The bundle of state grain reports, compiled from the agency's daily releases, covers Kansas, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, the Louisiana and Texas Gulf export market, and Portland, with report dates of September 24 and 25, 2026.
In Kansas, the ordinary-protein bid at West was quoted between minus 90.00Z and minus 60.00Z, unchanged, with prices from 6.7700 to 7.0700 dollars per bushel and a decline of 0.0475. The average was 6.9367, against a year-ago average of 4.2225, on a delivered-truck basis.
At Gulf Coast ports in Louisiana, export elevator bids for number 2 yellow corn were quoted at 58.00Z to 68.00Z, unchanged, with prices of 5.8225 to 5.9225 dollars per bushel, down 0.0325, and a year-ago average of 5.0150 on a cost-insurance-freight barge basis.
Chicago Board of Trade corn closed at 527.50 cents per bushel for December 2026, while soybeans settled at 1317.50 for November 2026. Wheat settled at 707.00 for December 2026.
