Grain Prices in Western Canada Released as of August 12

Grain prices in Western Canada were released by PDQ, owned by the Alberta Wheat Commission. These prices are provided as of August 12, 2026.

The CWRS, CWAD, and CPSR wheat varieties saw prices ranging from $11.5 to $13.5 per metric tonne. Canola prices were reported at around $299.45 in the Peace region, while Yellow Peas priced at $2 per metric tonne.

Prices varied by region, with Alberta seeing higher prices than Saskatchewan. In Southern Alberta, CWAD and CPSR wheat varieties sold for $275.05 and $286.16 respectively.
