Grain Prices in Western Canada See Variance Across Regions

The Alberta Wheat Commission's information services provider, PDQ, released grain prices for Western Canada as of September 23, 2026. The prices are provided in Canadian dollars per metric tonne.

CWRS, CWAD, CPSR, and CDA grains were priced at $13.5, $13.0, $11.5, and $12, respectively. Canola was priced at $318.03 in the Peace region, while peas were not listed for that area.

Prices varied across different regions in Western Canada. In Northern Alberta, canola was priced at $332.79, but peas were again not listed. In Southern Alberta, prices ranged from $336.98 for CWRS to $775.14 for CDA.
