Grain Prices Plummet on July 31

Closing markets on Friday, July 31, saw significant fluctuations in agricultural futures and grain prices. The Chicago Board of Trade reported that Corn Futures for September were down 5 at $4.40 per bushel, while December Corn was down 4 at $4.63.

Soybean Futures also declined, with September down 1 at $11.71 per bushel and November down a half at $11.88. Wheat Futures saw the largest drop, with September down 25 at $6.38 per bushel and December down 25 at $6.56.

Live Cattle Futures were down, with October down 45 at $227.00 per hundredweight, while Feeder Cattle Futures rose, with September up 82 at $343.27 and October up 92 at $334.95.
