Grain Prices See Movement on August 7
The grain market saw some movement on Friday, August 7, with several key prices changing hands. According to data from Bunge's Moose Jaw Terminal, Amber Durum opened at $272.48 per bushel, while Feed Barley started the day at $203.59. Canola was up 7.70 points to open at $724.65.
Kabuli Chickpeas also saw a significant increase, opening at $573.20. Flax and Red Lentils were down slightly, but still maintained strong prices of $630.54 and $516.50 respectively. Oats lagged behind with an opening price of just $155.00.
Large Yellow Peas opened at $283.11 per bushel, while Feed Wheat started the day at $233.71. The 1 Red Spring Wheat contract saw a smaller increase of 2.86 points to open at $287.46.
