Grains and Livestock Markets See Mixed Results on Wednesday

The grains and livestock futures markets are experiencing mixed results, according to DTN's latest update. In the grains market, December corn is down 3 3/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 2 1/2 cents, while December MIAX wheat is up 2 3/4 cents.
In the livestock complex, October live cattle are up $0.13 at $217.15, but October lean hogs are down $1.03 at $83.225.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average is also down, currently sitting at 299.52 points, while the U.S. Dollar Index has fallen to 0.140. Crude oil and gold prices have increased however, with October crude oil up $2.80 per barrel and December gold up $34.90 per ounce.
The USDA reported private exporters' sales activities for corn, soybeans, and wheat. Mexico purchased 182,880 mt (7.2 mb) of corn for the 2026/2027 season, China bought 340,000 mt (12.5 mb) of soybeans, and unknown destinations acquired 100,000 mt (3.7 mb) of soybeans.
