Grains and Soybeans Surge to New Contract Highs Amid Market Volatility
Grain and livestock markets are experiencing significant price movements on Tuesday, September 1st. December corn has risen to new heights, increasing by 8.5 cents per bushel, while November soybeans have surged by 27.75 cents. Wheat futures are also on the rise, with December Kansas City wheat up 13.75 cents and December Chicago wheat up 11.5 cents.

Falling crop ratings and a hot and dry forecast ahead are contributing to the strength in grain markets. Additionally, private exporters reported sales of 136,000 metric tons (5 million bushels) of soybeans for delivery to China during the 2026/2027 marketing year.
