Green Bridge Metals Raises C$4 Million Amid Share Price Slump
Green Bridge Metals has raised C$4 million to fund its exploration plans in Minnesota. However, the company's share price is currently at €0.0582, a staggering 74.59 percent below its February high of €0.2290.
The company placed 32,006,000 units at C$0.125 apiece, with each unit carrying one common share and one warrant exercisable at C$0.155 over a 36-month window. Stifel Canada acted as sole agent and retains an option to place additional units, shares, or warrants through the end of August 2026.
The fresh capital will be used to refine the existing resource base and run metallurgical studies aimed at reducing geological uncertainty. The company has already signed off on the exploration plan with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and contracted Foraco International to drill at least 1,640 meters of core in Phase 1 of the program.
The copper market offers a supportive backdrop, driven by demand for electrification, data centers, and renewable energy. However, there are also governance risks that can surface at small explorers, such as the credibility issue that emerged in April 2026 when the British Columbia Securities Commission prompted the company to clarify certain disclosures.
