Grupo Mexico's Q2 2026 financial results reveal a robust performance, driven by higher prices for copper and precious metals. The company reported total revenue of US$11.28 billion, representing a 33.8% increase from the same period in 2025.

The Mining segment was a key contributor to this growth, with sales rising 39.5% to US$9.3 billion. This uptick was largely fueled by stronger copper valuations and increased silver transaction volumes.

Conversely, Grupo Mexico's Infrastructure division saw net sales decline 18.7% to US$278 million, primarily due to diminished operations involving PEMEX oil rigs and lower natural gas prices.

In terms of production, the company's copper output slipped 3.2% to 515,675 tonnes, attributed to reduced ore quality at its Peruvian sites. However, this decline was partially offset by increased production from facilities in Mexico and the United States.
