Gujarat Ambuja Exports Invests ₹333 Crore in Hubli Corn Wet Milling Plant
Gujarat Ambuja Exports Limited has announced plans to invest ₹333 crore in an 850 TPD corn wet milling plant at its Hubli location in Karnataka. The new facility will be built next to the company's existing 750 TPD corn wet milling unit and is expected to produce 400 TPD of corn starch, 150 TPD of sweeteners, and 300 TPD of feed ingredients.
The project is part of Gujarat Ambuja Exports' plan to expand its processing capacity and strengthen its product mix. The company aims to increase its overall corn wet milling capacity to 9,000 TPD by 2030 and sees the new facility as a key step towards achieving this target.
The ₹333 crore investment will be funded through internal accruals, and regulatory approvals are required before construction can begin. The project is expected to be commissioned by the fourth quarter of Fiscal 2029.
