Gunnison Copper Corp. (NYSE American: GUNN) has awarded equity to 115 eligible employees to celebrate its debut on the NYSE American under the ticker GUNN. The initiative, announced during a company town hall at its Johnson Camp Mine, underscores Gunnison's commitment to its core value of 'People First.' Craig Hallworth, President and CEO, emphasized that the employees' contributions in bringing the Johnson Camp Mine into production in just 18 months deserve recognition through a personal stake in the company's future.

The Johnson Camp Mine, located in Cochise County, Arizona, is a key player in strengthening domestic copper supply chains. It produces up to 25 million pounds of finished copper cathode annually, supporting critical sectors such as U.S. national security, defense manufacturing, and advanced technologies. The mine's operations eliminate the need for overseas smelting or refining, ensuring a pure American copper supply. Gunnison is also advancing its flagship Gunnison Copper Project, located nearby, which represents a significant opportunity to expand domestic copper production.

Employees received commemorative award certificates during the October 20 town hall. Representatives from the workforce traveled to New York to join the company's first day of trading. The equity awards, planned as restricted share units, will have a 12-month vesting period from the initial listing date. These awards are subject to completion of required regulatory processes and filings. The milestones followed a visit to Johnson Camp by U.S. Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum and Congressman Juan Ciscomani, highlighting the mine's contribution to domestic copper production.

Gunnison Copper Corp. controls the Cochise Mining District, which contains 12 known deposits within an 8 km economic radius. Its flagship asset, the Gunnison Copper Project, has a main pit Measured and Indicated Mineral Resource containing over 846 million tons with a total copper grade of 0.33%, containing 5.19 billion pounds of copper. The company's Johnson Camp Asset is fully funded by Nuton LLC, a Rio Tinto Venture, with a production capacity of up to 25 million lbs of finished copper cathode annually.
