Hecla Mining Company's stock has been rising by 5.92% after investors became more optimistic about silver prices.

The company reported slightly lower Q2 revenue and earnings compared to its record prior quarter, but still managed to post strong free cash flow, a stronger balance sheet, and record silver output at Lucky Friday.

Analysts are divided on the stock's price target, with Jefferies initiating coverage with a Hold rating and a $22 price target, while RBC Capital cut its price target from $24 to $20 while keeping an Outperform rating.

The company also received some positive news when NVRO Metals successfully produced metal from Greens Creek tailings, which could potentially add extra value for Hecla Mining in the future.
